Forest Mama

It's Mothers Day!!! I wanted to take my mom to my newest favorite place here in Portland - the Powell Butte Nature Park. It's just behind our house, and dad and I have been there a few times. So today it was family day!

Come on mom, keep up!!!

It's always good to leave a marker so that you can find your way out of the forest... here's mine:

Today we'll take the Black-Tailed Deer trail to the top of the Butte...

Lets goooooooooooooooooo!

I wanted to get some flowers for mom for Mothers Day - I thought this would do nicely...

We're at the top! That means it's time to go back down - and down is fun!

Sometimes getting that perfect shot is WORK. I don't know if everyone realizes how tough it is for me as constant model and celebrity - all of the stopping and posing can take a lot out of a boy. Take these pictures for example:

Trying to get into position...

You want me to go where, mom? Ah well, that's ok - I still LOVE you...

Then I met a pretty girl that I got to sniff a bit - she's a cutie, I hope I see her again!

Happy Mothers Day to all of the doggie mamas and mamas of doggies out there!

Love,

Bogart

That looks like a great spot for a walk, and much greener than your walks used to be in LA!

Alright, Mama de Bogart! Thanks for getting that card reader, girl! I've been dying to see my fuzzy-faced friend.

Bogart, you are out and about and making friends! It's only a matter of time before you have a local following.

That's a mighty fine nature trail. Wish I could walk it with you, buddy.

Goober love & mam's day smooches,
STanley

Bogie, you weren't dragging the chain there were you?? I do that and D ends up having to drag me along. Looks like a nice place to go walking. Do your pinkies like living in Portland or do they prefer LA?

Looks like you are really enjoying your new place with lots of nice walkies.

I agree that having to pose all the time can be a pain. That little husky gal is a cutie. Hope you see her again soon.

Hey Bogart,

I'm so glad you've finally moved to Portland, I hope you enjoy it up here in the Northwest. Isn't it green and pretty? I love it because there are so many places to venture and hike. The rain isn't so nice, but summers get hot and toasty with the sun shining. Glad you're settling in nicely. Hope your parents are having a good time in Portland too.

Hugs,
Kimi
