Mmm... FIBER

Dog cannot live on meat and vegetables alone. Occasionally a visit to the outdoor salad bar is in order. Sometimes a little extra fiber is required in the diet.

I like my fiber the natural way - via eating sticks. The little ones are the crunchiest.

To get them into bite-sized pieces, simply place a mighty paw onto a large stick and use your jaws to pry the yummy smaller pieces off.

You may not find the tastiest pieces on the first try - so feel free to move all around that large stick to find the best bits.

This is the proper stance for stick destruction and eating:

Bogart you are very helpful in you advice. I will try that with my sticks, but I am not as large as you;so, I shall try with the smaller sticks.

Bogart, do you actually digest the stick? Have you ever had an upset tummy? I'm not keen on them myself.

Hi Bogi,
thank you for your report and the prescription. I eat in each case the large sticks. But if you say, the little ones are the crunchiest, must I that absolutely try.

We both enjoy a good stick now and again, but they're pretty scarce here in the desert! We'll try your technique when we return home to farrr N.Idaho. Plenty of woods up there!
