Cheeseburger for Chloe

I was sad to get news yesterday that Chloe, an Airedale Terrier, went to doggie heaven this week... her dad wrote to me that I made him smile so I was due a cheeseburger.

Okie dokie!

Off we go to Rally's - at first I was unaware of where we were going, but as we pulled into the parking lot I felt sure that this was going to be my "Chloe Burger"! And yes, a burger was indeed forthcoming mom explained, that I was going to get in honor of Chloe.

First dad tried to get me to make a "toast" to Chloe using his jumbo lemonade. I was a bit confused, but did my best to follow tradition.

Then it was burger time...

Mmm, mmm, mmm.

I just want Chloe's dad to know that all of us here feel really sorry for your loss of beautiful Chloe, that she's waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for you, and hope that you are okay during this difficult time... I'm sorry I never got to know Chloe!

Love,

Bogart

Sorry, Bogart

Mum's typing this for me. She pressed the wrong button and added the same comment twice and she's said 'my mate' instead of 'your mate'. I know you understand.

Love from YOUR mate, Hammer

Oh Bogart...I am sooo touched to see that you enjoyed a tasty cheeseburger so soon ~ in honor of my dear Chloe! (You look just like her!) It brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. Chloe's dad and I miss our sweet girl terribly and appreciate your gesture and all of the lovely thoughts your friends have to say. Especially Lux, the Cat, who would have likely been chased by Chloe :) We look forward to bringing a new Airedale into our family and will introduce you to her as soon as she arrives.
