Snowtairecular!

The snow has not only not stopped - it's dumping more and more onto my backyard! And making it difficult to go for my walkies - which cheeses me off. Mama said that now even the local buses aren't running, so we're kind of stranded here. Tell me that doesn't mean that you're just going to sit there mama...

As we just moved here not too long ago from Los Angeles, as you can imagine we weren't really prepared for the "Arctic Blast" (as it's being referred to on the TV news). Even tho we just heard that there hasn't been this much snow in Portland in over 40 years, that doesn't make it better. I'm definitely helping mama keep warm, but there isn't much I can do about the snow at this point - it's almost too deep for my legs now, and that is freaking me out. But we are missing a very important piece of equipment - the SNOW SHOVEL.

No money to go buy one, car not prepared for snow and no buses running. What's a boy to do?

That's right, dad and I decided to make one ourselves.

I know it looks like I'm just sitting there but in reality I'm helping - someone has to come up with the design and supervise the workers.

I've gotta be sure that dad is doing this right. It's totally makeshift - an old rake that he is attaching to a piece of an old sign. Prehistoric, eh?

Come on dad, get crackin'!

I need to go out for a little bit to at least do my business, and I'm not walking through that snow again...

Did you hear me? I'm not walking through belly deep snow again just to poop!

Good. Just checking.

Almost done...

Allrighty dad, nice work... I will sing your praises...

Stand up, proud snow warrior, and brandish your weapon!

The snow is really INSANE... this is my backyard...

There has to be over a foot of snow - in only a few days...

And IT'S STILL SNOWING

I'm working on my Snow Stache... hey, I smell a fun contest in there somewhere!

Look how pronounced my beard and stache are when fully covered in snow!

And how do I get such excellent snow stache satisfaction you ask? Never forget where the word TERRIER comes from...

Love,

Bogart

Doesn't that cold snow feel so good on your face, Bogie?! Your dad is a genius to create his own shovel! Nice supervising work!

Hi Bogart! Wow, that's a LOT of snow! Good thing you're there to supervise your dad and keep your mom warm. I say stand up for your rights and make sure your dad keeps your "place of business" shoveled. Say hi to the goats for me!

Your friend,
Joey

LOVIN' that snow stache! We'd take some of that snow here in GooberStan. Ours totally washed away and now it's just stinkin' cold! There's a -20 wind chill factor, and even Stella doesn't want to stay outside to play with me.

At least I can look at your photos and pretend I'm romping through the snow with ya, man!

By the way, your dad is one cool snow warrior! Way to be resourceful!

And of course, my girl loves all of those close ups of your juicy schnoz! On her behalf I thank you!

Goober love,
Stanley

We are most envious of your snow Bogart. Well done for helping your Dad out with his snow shovel.

Have a very Happy Christmas Bogart.

Dude, you have to get dad to shovel a pee-pee path for you even if he has to use the rake. Trust me on this one.

Your aire-coat sure accumulates icicles. Are you leaving little snowballs all over the house?

what a clever Dad you have taught Bogart. The handle looks so nice like he can just plow a way for you now. Enjoy the snow. Do you jump around like a flying fish in it like me? if not I highly recommend big bounding leaps into the snow piles.
