Helping Dad

All this week I've been helping dad - over at Mareike's. He's been doing some gardening, and I've been helping. Of course I get to hang out with my 3 favorite Dales so it really doesn't get any better for me than this.

Basically this means that while I've been having a really good time, since dad was in charge there are no photos of all of this Aire-fun. We've been out walking 4 Dales at a time (the response to this is particularly great as people stop what they're doing, slow down their cars, and pull out their cell phones to take pictures), got kicked out of a dog-free flea market (honestly, how can this be possible here in California that dogs aren't allowed at all of the flea markets?), had some burgers at the Good Microbrew. I've helped dad to corral the many sticks that were scattered all over the garden, and peed on his new bucket (well, I think this is important...).

Jupie has been taking over as my pawsonal trainer - she's the fastest runner I've ever seen, and when she takes off up the hill I cannot help myself but I must run after her. She's a tough cookie but a cutie-pie, and she just got a nice haircut so she's all soft and sweet...

I got a haircut too - well, I got lots of hair pulled out - and now that it's the weekend I'm hoping that mom will take some photos. I think I look rather handsome.

Tonight some silly movie is being filmed in the back of my house in my park. I am not pleased. So mom, dad and I went for a walk - right in the middle of the filming. Hey it's MY park and I do not recall being asked for permission for them to ride their silly vehicles up and down the hill. I felt the need to use my big boy bark when one of the filming-humans startled me and I managed to startle a large group of them in return.

Ah, good times...

Love,

Bogart

P(ee)S--I totally agree that the CA no doggies at markets thing is just so silly. I would love to go to the farmer's market with my Mom just once!!!

Bogart!

DAMN RIGHT it's your park! Glad you got your bark on with some of the pesky film crew!

Sounds like a great week at Marieke's. Give some goob smooches to your dad for helping out the hoomans, and for taking on all 4 dales during walking duty! I'd love to see a photo of that sometime.

Goober love,
Stanley
