Ah, what a nice way to spend a Sunday...
First we've gotta gas up - this is Los Angeles after all - so I help guard the Bogie-beetle while mom pumps gas.
I check the receipt carefully, and then we're ready to roll!
We went to the Hollyridge trail in Hollywood...
Gotta be careful of those rattlesnakes and mountain lions...
But basically it's just a place to have fun!
There were lots of people on horses, but mom's camera was being persnickety (again) so no cool horse pictures.
I did get to meet lots of cool doggies - ALL GIRLS TODAY - always fun. We walked for a few hours, then it was time to go home. Definitely a fun, easygoing afternoon.

Good thing your parents have you around for Bogie-mobile guard duty and to keep them in line on their finances. What did they do BEFORE you? Can't imagine.
About the rattlesnakes and mountain lions, I'm sure they made a beeline for safety once they heard you coming.

Bogie...we've seen that place a million times in pix, but never knew you could walk up there!!! It does look really really dry!! How do you do diggies in such hard dirt? And how do you find mud to roll in??? Girl dogs are the best...unless they are your sister...Bossy Bessie if there ever was one!!

All that dirt makes me worry. Mah MaMa takles me places like that, but I don't like the heat!!!! But you look like you're having fun! You're so lucky to meet some girls!

Bogie, You share a love of two of our favorite things, Volkswagons and hiking! We have two VWs and a honda--we use them all to go hiking.
