I can't tell ya how tickled I am these days to be watching the Kerry Blues do their thang... mama and I are really absolutely enamored of them. And THOSE BEARDS - they make me all tingly whenever I see them, especially after roaring to the top in Stanley & Stella's Beard Competition.
So I feel very honored (and did I mention tingly?) to receive this award from them.

It was TOUGH to just pick 8 other dogs to send this to - I tried hard to find those of you who hadn't already received one - which is sometimes the toughest part. Mama and I read so many of your blogs all the time, so we did a lot of visiting to see, but alas, sometimes mama screws up.

I have been blogging for just over 3 years now, and remember the dark times before DWB - when there were no other dogs with blogs, no one reading my blog, and no online dog community - and the day that I got a little email from our friends Greg and Brooke asking if I wanted to join a new site that they were putting together called Dogs With Blogs. Everything changed after that, and not only did more and more dogs join up and link to us, but friendships (and flirtations for me) were born.

I don't know what it is, but this morning I've been feeling all puke-y. Not to be gross here, but it's basically just fluid, and I feel kind of tired. Must have been something I ate.

OHMYGOSH!Of course I have my own page on MySpace... and I was entered in the MySpace Dog Show in the Terrier category. Each breed has 2 winners - one who gets the most votes and then the dog of the opposite sex who gets the most votes... in the Airedale Terrier category, a pretty girl named Missy won first place and I won Best of Opposite Sex!!!!
I couldn't tell any of my blogging buddies about it because the voting had to be fair - no stumping for votes. But now that it's over I just wanna tell everybody how COOL I feel today!!!!

Today, in anticipation of the most important awards of the year - The FIDOs - I dragged mom and dad to the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood to soak up a little adoration and get into the award spirit. We walked all along Hollywood Boulevard in front of the theatre where all of the stars of that “other” awards show will be tomorrow. In front of Mann’s Chinese Theatre, all along the street, lots of commotion and lots of people.
Forget the Oscars, here are the FIDOs!
I'm very proud to say that I am nominated for two FIDO awards on Dogs With Blogs!!!! I am of course in very esteemed company - all of the videos that are nominated are great! - and I will smile and clap if I don't get the award when the camera is on me - but of course I do want to WIN.
