Today mama had to go to the doctor's office to have some blood taken for a test. I decided she shouldn't do this alone, she needed someone to come with her and hold her hand. She doesn't really like needles (nor do I), and since she has always held my paw whenever I've had to go to the vet I thought I would return the favor.
Paging Dr. Bogart! I've got my stethoscope...
And my fine lab coat...
And my mask. I'm ready for anything.
Go ahead mama - get your arm out. I'm ready to make sure that nothing goes wrong.
Damn these hospital outfits... they always leave your butt exposed...

I think we need to move to Oregon, I can't believe how dog tolerant they are. Bogie in the ICU, Bogie at the doctor's rooms...etc ..amazing. I couldn't imagine walking into my doctor's office with Axel.
