Lookie lookie here...
I found myself a spiffy new toy. Apparently it was probably originally made for a little human, but I find it kind of mesmerizing. It rattles!
I want a new toy - oh oh oh - to keep my head expanding...

I am Bogart Handsome Devil, Airedale Terrier and dog-about-town. I'm growing up in front of the entire world here on my blog... sharing my world with crazy cats and my mama Lulu. The King of Terriers is in da house!

Mom and I posed in front of the opening gates welcoming us into their pierogi-filled heaven...
The lovely Polish outfits kind of reminded me of the outfit mama wore to Oktoberfest. There were LOTS of folks walking around in full gear, and you could buy some if you forgot yours.
Lots of handmade gifties, pretty things to buy...
It's tough to see in this photo, but they had Polish dancers - mama and I watched them, and when everyone was clapping at the end I felt it necessary to clap too. However, not having the ability to do this kind of thing easily, I decided to show my appreciation in the only way I know how - LOUD BARKING. The people standing around thought this was very amusing, so I was encouraged to do it more. I like these people...
We were going to head over to the food tents (mmm... food tents) but then the camera battery died. So no footage of the sausage-and-pierogi goodness. But I'm sure you can imaging how good that was...

Mingo and I have a request - Can you pop onto my Airedale Bloggers page on Squidoo and see if I'm missing anybody?
www.squidoo.com/AiredaleTerrierBloggers
Drop me a line with any links that I'm missing and I'll get those up straight away.
I also have to work on my other Squidoo lenses (which you will see, I have sorely neglected):
I'll get to those soon - after the Airedale bloggers one is complete.
Much obliged...
Love,
Bogart
Gimme that leaf...
I said GIMME
Thank you. I need this one to celebrate the changing of the seasons. To do my special dance. Ah heck, I'M GONNA EAT IT
Ah Mt. Tabor park... the nicest extinct volcano I've ever peed on...
The trees here are just so cool, and so many places...
To pee on!
Love,
Bogart
And when we got there all we saw was this - yes, it's a sign, yes, it's advertising the Polish Festival, and yes, it's NEXT WEEKEND...
Oh well. Time to pack up and walk around somewhere else. We'd never been to Laurelhurst Park so since it looks like such a nice place from inside the Bogiemobile it must be nice in person.
Mmm... pond. That means VARMINTS!!!
Ooh, an off-leash area - SO CHI-CHI...
Of course I'm not allowed off-leash because mama and dad say that I'm a hooligan and musn't be trusted. I can't even protest because deep down inside I know it's kind of true...
Oooh... DUCKS! They seem to be experiencing an algae bloom here, that's why the water looks so green, but the ducks don't seem to mind.
See how green it is? That's the algae...
But everything else is still green as well, so it was time to explore the park a bit. It's very pretty, we saw lots of families and even a bridal party!
After such a morning, a boy is hungry. I didn't think I'd make it back home without a little snackie. So it was time to check out another place that we'd heard a lot about... Otto's Sausage.
While dad procured the snausages, I checked out the local color.
What a cool place this is - you can get food inside or you can get your sausage from the smoker outside...
There's dad in the background going for a juicy one on a bun.
Mama, I sure hope he remembers which ones are my favorites...
Maybe while I'm waiting I'll check out what's inside.
I AM HERE FOR YOUR SAUSAGE
Looks like dad got a good one. I'm happy to help ya with those condiments dad!
Sitting? Ok sure. I'll sit.
Sittin' like a good boy, waiting for my sausage-ly reward...
I got a nice big bite, here's one for you my friends:
Oh Otto's, I shall return...
And just look at what I found when I got home... kitties SNUGGLING! That's Behemoth and Kafka all curled up, keeping warm on a chilly day. They're so c-u-t-e...
Love,
Bogart
Today be International Talk Like a Pirate Day...
So I strapped on me eyepatch - AHOY wench-mama - ready to go a plunderin'.
ARGH!
Bogart
First dad set up the Waterproof Bench Seat Cover in the back of the Bogcedes.
It looks good, compliments the black and tan nicely, and doesn't feel scratchy on the paws or the delicate, wiry fuzz.
I kind of like this actually.
It makes me feel like the entire back seat is mine (which is great, because I've always felt at home in the front seat, but sometimes I am forced to ride in the back...)
And now for the Pet Vehicle Safety Harness. I've never worn one of these that's this nice - mama tried one of these ages ago but it wasn't padded and lets just say that I didn't like it (rather than what actually happened - in my displeasure I destroyed it).
This one is adjustable at 4 points, helpful for a deep-chested male such as myself...
And it's got a short leash that attaches to the seat belt.
Think you're just going to strap me in? HA HA HA
Ok, I'm sitting up straight like a good boy. Looks kind of snazzy, doesn't it?
It's definitely comfy, a HUGE plus for me. And it really does fit nicely...
Ah well, I guess I can't run all around the back seat being strapped down, huh?
At least I can still look out the window...
It's actually not that bad - I do feel pretty snug.
And if I want to jump into the car after getting all wet and muddy, I've got my new waterproof seat cover so dad doesn't yell at muddy paws on the seats. IT'S ALL GOOD
Love,
Bogart
